No comment: the defendant’s guide to arrest

No comment, a guide for those facing arrest, or the friends and family of defendants, has existed in various editions. The earliest reference I could find is to an edition of 1994, put together by a London anarchist group.

It contains useful information on bail conditions, conduct in police interviews, and your rights, and has been updated throughout the years to reflect changes in the law.

The edition we hold is the 5th, put together by the Legal Defence & Monitoring Group in 2014. The defendant’s guide to arrest can be accessed online.
