The LCC zine collection is available to all UAL students, staff and alumni, as well as all external visitors with an interest in the collection.
How to book
For students
To book an appointment online, please log in through https://librarybookings.arts.ac.uk/, under study space select the “Dedicated Special Collections (closed access) materials desk”, and fill your request information in the booking form.
If you are in the library, ask for a request form at the Information Desk. Specific items or boxes requested before 2:30pm can be seen on the same day after 3:30pm. Any items requested after this time, or on the next morning before 10:30am can be seen after 11:30am.
If you would like our librarians to curate a selection of zines for you, please allow at least a 72h margin.
For staff and external visitors
Please email your request at libraryspeccolls@lcc.arts.ac.uk
Requesting zines
You can request to view up to 5 individual zine titles or alternatively you van request 1 themed zine box.
You can search our full holdings of zines via our online library catalogue
Not sure what you’re looking for? You can use our zine blog index to browse some of the titles available for inspiration and then request to see the physical copies from our collections.
