Belle Lettres

Belle Lettres is a fanzine by the writer and teacher Alistair Fitchett, documenting his love of the Scottish indie pop band Belle & Sebastian through a series of inter-linked, semi-autobiographical short stories.

Fitchett went on to run the seminal e-zine of ‘unpopular culture’ Tangents from 1997-2007.
